You’ve mastered the 5k and now you’re ready to take it to the next level and push up to the 10k? Well, we’re here to help you! We’ve teamed up with Broughton Community & Sports Association to bring you this course which will end with you graduating at the Broughton Burn!
With our 5-10k training program you will be progressively & safely coached up to the 10k mark. The course will include include tonnes of other information such as how to warm up & cool down correctly, the importance strength training, strength exercises and targeted run sessions to improve your fitness! You will have the support and experience of England Athletics trained leaders and coaches who will be there to offer you their advice and guidance throughout the duration of the course.
The structured sessions will be each Monday at 6pm on the Broughton Recreation field and your long run will be done on a Wednesday at 5:45pm in Brigg, starting from the Brixx gym.
