We’re pleased to announce our c25k course starting in February! It is a 10 week course which is led by England Athletics trained and DBS checked run leaders. In the course we will show you how to warm up & cool down correctly and techniques on how to improve your form whilst gently improving your fitness in a friendly environment which will eventually culminate in graduation at Parkrun! We will provide one led run per week with an expectation that you will run 3 to 4 days a week (including the led session). If you’re interested you can sign up here
At the same time as running the c25K this we will be running our first Family Fit training program which is focused on families exercising and training together. Enjoying the outdoors and exercising together as a family is a great thing to do and we want to promote this healthy family atmosphere. It will build in much the same way as the C25k but because children are unlike adults and are not fully developed, the run durations will not go on for as long as the c25k. To sign up, register here.
